HOW DO I BOOK YOU FOR AN EVENT?

To reserve us for your event we require a signed contract and a non-refundable retainer of $1500.00. The remaining balance of the contract is due 30 days prior to the event date.

Payment can be made by check, cash, or major credit card.

COMMON QUESTIONS …

How many images do you deliver?
Anywhere from 800 -1200 color-corrected and enhanced images, available to view in an online gallery for you to share.

Will I get color and black & white photos?
The majority will be color, with certain choice images converted to black and white.

How soon do you deliver images?
Between 8-12 weeks after the event.

What images will you deliver?
All the high-resolution jpegs from your gallery, enhanced and corrected.

How many photographers will attend my event?
The two principal photographers attend every event.

What if you’re ill?
We know plenty of talented photographers who can substitute for us in that unlikely event — which has never happened yet.

Can we book an engagement shoot?
You sure can! Give us a ring for details We also offer a wonderful signing book for your guests & family to record their sentiments. Check it out!

Do you travel?
Yes we do. We can shoot your event anywhere! There’s no travel fee for an event within 100 mile radius of NYC.

For destination events we can book our own travel and accommodation — and we give big discounts for destination events!

Yep — that’s her!

ALBUM & Product questions …

What albums do you offer?
We offer several high-quality custom designed flushmount and classic matted albums with a range of cover materials and finishes. Our albums will last a lifetime with proper care.

Albums are available to view at our studio or during a consultation. You can view online samples here.

Can I purchase an album later?
Absolutely.

Can you pre-design my album for me?
We do offer a pre-design service (where we pick the images) and subsequently you can make final design changes or revisions. This is great if you’re an old client and haven’t yet picked your images for your album, even if it’s been a few years. *A design fee may apply.

You didn’t shoot my wedding but can you design my album?
We’d love to.

Can I purchase prints, framed prints or get a print credit?
Prints can be purchase from your online gallery. For custom-framing please contact the studio — we fully retouch all images for framing.

Where can I view my online proofs or gallery?
Online Proofing

Can I get printed proofs?
We can provide printed proofs of your entire gallery or a selection of favorites. Proofs are 4×6 with white-border, and are presented boxed.

WHAT’S YOUR STYLE OF PHOTOGRAPHY?

It’s really a mix of styles: a little photojournalism, some candid shots, posed shots where we will direct you. But nothing too forced or cheesy. The most important thing for great images is that the client is comfortable and feels they can be themselves.

For the reception everything is usually candid and spur-of-the-moment. With formal group + family shots we will organize you to achieve the best results.

We like to keep things light, fun, and enjoy the moments as they happen.

DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH MITZVAHS, QUINCEANERAS, or Sweet 16?

We regularly photograph bar and bat mitzvah events in New York City, Connecticut and New Jersey.

Many of our mitzvah clients request a portrait shoot several weeks before the event to create images to be used for signing books and posters, or for prints to decorate the party location. Our portrait shoot packages allow for several outfit changes and multiple locations.
