The Inn at Longshore Wedding, Westport, Connecticut

They met in college, at a party,  and fell madly in love.  It was only befitting that we shot their engagement session there as well along the beautiful Hudson River in the fall on the campus of their alma mater.

It was a crisp afternoon, when we met.  We talked of football, he played for the team while studying, she attended his games. They gave us a tour of the campus, proud to be Alumni, telling us about their favorite spots and how they spent hours together getting to know one another.  He, a local boy, high school football hero.  She, a transplant from Connecticut, which seemed worlds away.  We spent time photographing them, each location had a different story.

We laughed about how they met and they excitedly shared plans for of their wedding for the following fall.  It was a long time off she told me.  I laughed and told her it would go quicker than she could imagine, and it did.

The day arrived!  The wedding day started off with a drizzle, that didn't dampen the happiness in the air.  The bride readied at her family home in Westport, Connecticut aided by the talented MAGGIE D'ANGELO .

The groom, dressed in HUGO BOSS , stood nervously at the altar of  the Assumption Church in Westport, Connecticut waiting for his bride.  Family and friends filled the church, anxiously waiting along with the groom.

The bride arrived with her Dad, stepped out of her car wearing SAREH NOURI  looking breathtakingly beautiful. She entered the church approached her groom. They said their vows, pledged their love and more than one tear flowed as they kissed.  The weather began to clear just as we started to photograph the formals, which took place on the great lawn at THE INN AT LONGSHORE by the3MARC in Westpost, Connecticut, an amazing venue located on the shores of Connecticut on the Long Island Sound.

As we were shooting the Bride let us in on a secret, they were engaged at this very location on the edge of the Long Island Sound sitting in Adirondack chairs enjoying the view. We finished by photographing family which lead up to cocktail hour serving freshly made custom pizza as well as an array of stunning  hors d'oeuvres that the venue is known for.

The reception took place in the ballroom at THE INN AT LONGSHORE by theMARC  which was expertly decorated with an abundance of flowers masterly designed by BRAACH'S FLOWERS .  With the lights low and the candles burning family and friends were treated to one of the most astounding speeches we have ever heard, given by the groom's best man, his brother.  After everyone stopped laughing and dried their eyes, the guests were entertained by the sounds of EMPIRE SOUND DJ and danced the night away.  The couple partied on for hours with family and friends. A memorable day with a memorable couple.  Love and happiness to them always.
